This Project is sponsored by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) “Sports for Hope” initiative whose mission is to provide positive sport and life style opportunities for athletes, coaches, sports administrators and underserved women, youth and children, through high quality facilities for community development and elite sport for high level sport training and competitions, and to promote the principles and values of the Olympics.

The IOC envisions developing a multi-purpose facility that will be available and accessible to children, youth, sports administrators, match officials, coaches and high performance athletes. This sport facility will be suitable for sports competitions, camps and clinics and coaches and sport administrators seminars. In addition the project will provide for Educational Programs and Social Development including girl’s empowerment, civic education and health services on HIV & AIDS, malaria and other health issues to athletes, surrounding communities and the general public.
