Haitian Government has been working to rehabilitate and rebuild the infrastructure damaged by the earthquake that devastated Haiti on January 12, 2010. The government has enlisted technical experts to assist with several large public works projects such as the Fontamara Market Place. Fontamara is one of the most important market places in the area of Port-au-Prince and where weather conditions can cause unhealthy conditions. During the passage of tropical storm Sandy, the area was flooded and later impacted by the spread of cholera.

The Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE) selected CSA as their General Consultant supervise the design and construction of the Fontamara Market Place, which has been contracted as a Design/Build (D/B) project. CSA is providing a variety of oversight and management services representing the owner throughout the project.
