The New Secure Home Program (Nuevo Hogar Seguro) is a federally funded program aimed at protecting lives and preventing the loss of property from potential hazards. The program provides families, who have homes in unsafe areas with an opportunity to acquire a new home in a FEMA approved location. The projects CSA was responsible for consisted of multiple housing projects in the municipalities of Arroyo (55 units), Lajas (75 units), Salinas (200 units), and Juana Diaz (100 units).

Under this contract with the Puerto Rico Housing Financing Corporation (PRHFC) CSA provided multidisciplinary engineering review and program management services. CSA provided consulting services to identify and evaluate potential sites for the new housing developments. During construction, we provided inspection services, a resident engineer and other staff as requested to assist the PRHFC’s representative in observing the performance of the contractor’s work undertaking the construction of each of the housing projects.
