Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the busiest passenger airport in the world as well as a critical economic driver for the City of Atlanta. Hartsfield-Jackson is projected to handle more than 121 million passengers and 1,653,215 metric tons of cargo by the year 2015.

Keeping pace with the regional growth means expanding and modernizing Hartsfield- Jackson to meet the ever increasing demand for air travel. The Capital Improvement Expansion program, administered by the Hartsfield-Jackson Department of Aviation provided $5.4 billion over a 10 year period for a coordinated program of renovations and expansion.

The Department of Aviation engaged Stanley Love-Stanley, P.C. In Association with Newcomb & Boyd for the Architectural and Engineering services. As a member of this team, CSA Group provided Civil, Structural and MEP Engineering and Landscape Architectural services.
