The South Airport Automated People Mover (APM) Complex is a multi-year program.  The scope of the program includes a 2400 car parking garage, the South Airport APM Complex station, completion of the APM guideway structure to the South Airport APM Complex station, modifications to the APM guideway structures (fixed facilities only) to Airsides 1 and 3, roadways, bridges, site work and all associated infrastructure.

TY Lin was contracted to complete the evaluation and design of existing A/S 1 & A/S 3 APM structure, design of structural guideway and necessary infrastructure of the southern portion of the APM system coordinating with the APM Operating System Supplier and Construction Manager at Risk. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America (MHIA) was the designer of all systems and equipment above the guideway (cars, lighting, railings, etc) under a Design/Build/Operate/Maintain contract.

TY Lin subcontracted CSA Group to provide full design of the electrical grounding and empty electric conduit routing for the APM Guideway and supplementary survey of the APM Guideway limits.
